After graduating Film & Screen Media Production at Griffith University in 2009, Jared started his creative career as a freelance Director of Photography to build his visually strong and diverse portfolio.

In 2017, he co-founded Ballast Films with a focus on creating meaningful brand and story-focussed films to service clients and agencies through all stages of production.

During this time, Jared expanded his creative offering and has confidently risen to the challenge as a Director DP.

Jared thrives on collaboration, problem-solving and delivering to a high standard.

He loves roasting specialty coffee, craft beer, the movie Hot Rod and carving the streets on his OneWheel.
