With a wide variety of packaging products at our disposal, hours of loops were recorded on set with up to 8 microphone channels rolling.
During post-production, these were glued together in a way that became musical. Through trial and error, we created a score that constantly evolved, yet remained sensitive to the whimsical tension in the narrative.
Subtle EQ and pitch manipulations allowed certain packaging elements to take on a rich tonal instrument-like quality.
With the exception of a kick drum that comes in and out, there is absolutely no supplemental noise; everything in the final score was recorded using a product on set.
