Children’s Rights Queensland is focused on ensuring awareness of children’s rights under the United Nations Convention on the Rights of a Child. We were initially asked for brand concepts, look and feel and a logo to help promote the rights of Queensland children.
We conducted a strategy that formed the basis of the new brand, rolling this out across print and digital. Additionally, we fulfilled the brand’s purpose – empowering Queensland children – by allowing them to design a unique typeface to be used on collateral. We used Children’s Week as the catalyst for driving awareness and interest among children to create a new typeface. Hundreds of children got involved, creating the visual representation of the voices of Queensland children – the ‘TypeRights’ typeface, which was professionally illustrated in-house.
We provided pro-bono work for this project, as we support a number of not-for-profit organisations with sponsorship and in-kind creative services.
