Opportunity

In November 2023, the Containers for Change scheme expanded to include wine and spirit bottles. Our task was to engage Queensland females aged 24-45 through an addictive mobile game. We created Container Blitz, integrated into the Uber app, where players match containers to earn points, learn recycling, and compete on leaderboards.

Challenge

In November 2023, Containers for Change expanded to include wine and spirit bottles for refunds. Our challenge was to engage Queensland females aged 24-45 in this expanded scheme. The objective was to raise awareness and participation among this demographic in an engaging and memorable way.

Idea

Recycling meets Candy Crush

We developed Container Blitz, a mobile game integrated into the Uber app. Players match containers to earn points, learning about recycling. The game featured eligible containers in recognisable shapes and colours, with a leaderboard for competition, aiming to create buzz around the program.
