Making recycling easier
To help boost scheme ID registrations amongst people receiving cash refunds, we developed a bespoke app for the Containers for Change scheme in Queensland. Once registered, the app empowered users to make recycling more convenient through access to a range of features including container scanning, refund point maps and a scheme ID barcode. Regular releases to the app stores have added new functionality to help boost donations to hundreds of charities and community groups by allowing users to save and donate to multiple places.
The app is packed with features (recycle race game, recyculator, barcode scanner, map) to empower people to make crucial changes for the environment, make good pocket money and support local charities and communities.
Results:
•35,000 downloads in the first 2 weeks after launch.
•99.18k lifetime downloads (Apple and Android)
