The brief was to create an animated scene that allowed all the nasty little critters hiding in your home to come together for one big dinner party – a comical look at what might happen if you if you dont take action with Mortein Powerguard. We had to design and model all the individual characters for the spot, and gradually build up the scenes as they came to life. Hand animation gave each character its unique personality, crafting performance from each. Starting with a detailed pre-vis, we were able to outline the level of performance required from our animated characters, and hit the brief of the chaotic dinner party featuring all the creepy crawlies you might find hiding in your home. Texture, lighting and compositing allowed all the characters to come together with awesome sound design to create a wonderful celebration to showcase Mortein Powerguard in a memorable way.
