RAPAD came to us with a problem – the population in Central West QLD has been on a steady decline, with residents relocating to bigger hubs and cities.
To attract people to work, live, and invest in the Central West, our team needed to overcome the negative perceptions of the region and capture the lifestyle appeal of the area.
After visiting the region to get a feel for the people and the place, we had the idea to create ‘FarOut!’ – a stand-alone brand to be the face of the Central West’s call-to-action.
Typically this space is accustomed to a more conservative communication style, FarOut! is different; from the ”cut the crap” messaging, to bright colours and playful voice – it pushes industry norms and demonstrates that being different is a great thing.
