Network 10’s relaunch of the iconic Gladiators format necessitated an extensive out-of-home advertising campaign. This ambitious initiative featured on 3D Anamorphic DOOH sites across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth, marking the first time a campaign dominated all screens simultaneously. Since each screen had its own unique requirements, it was like solving multiple puzzles with the same pieces.
This Yagan Square site in Perth presented an even more distinctive challenge due to its 360° cylindrical screen. The optimal viewing experience for this display was dictated by visibility of only one-third of the cylinder. Consequently, the content had to be filmed, designed, and composited on a curve, then unwrapped to create a flat, yet distorted, movie file. This process ensured that the vision appeared three-dimensional and “real” when viewed on the cylindrical screen from the optimal viewing position.
