Drink Driving is a significant cause of death for young drivers in Australia. In fact, 1in 3 males aged 18-24 report driving when they may be over the limit.

We needed to engage them in a way they’d understand the effect of alcohol on response times. The result was Lag Kills, an online video game stream on Twitch. We challenged an influential Aussie streamer, TJBirrd, to play Minecraft with 300ms ping, the same reaction delay to driving with 0.05 BAC.

The result? plenty of deaths in the game, which sparked positive conversations around the dangers of drink driving.
