Language Disorder Australia is the parent company in a network of professionals and services for children and young people with Language Disorder, including an independent school in Brisbane and several allied health clinics across Queensland. There had been no visual connection between the services, and clients of one service were mostly unaware of the other services in the Group. The challenge was to create a unified brand for three entities with very different names, and to ensure that users of the school or the clinics were aware of the parent company.
A distinctive typeface and colour palette provided the visual cohesion for three entities, and the negative space in the letter form of the L formed the silhouette of a door used for the Bright Door logo; rotated, it also created the speech bubble which became an integral element of the brand across all entities.
