A standout project we did this year was the Ethical Nutrients, Live Life Resilient campaign. It was amazing to be on a project with such a great team and message. Live Life Resilient was created in a black and white, 4×3 sizing format and follows females of all ages in one shot through a Frank Sinatra song, ‘I Did It My Way’. The project requirements meant there were a lot of moving pieces which the director navigated brilliantly. The technical logistics of syncing sound to the edit as well as making 5 shots look like 1 also meant that live editing was a must. The editor was set up on a hot desk where they cut each of the chosen takes for the base edit as a proxy. Editing on the fly allowed the crew to see which shots needed to be reshot or completely rethought.
