The brief was to create an emotional short film that encapsulates the incredible work that RizeUp and its partner organisations, DV Connect and Brisbane Domestic Violence Service (BDVS) do to support victim survivors’ journeys.
As this film was commissioned by RizeUp, our challenge was to strike a balance between the film as branded content while also creating a powerful piece of narrative storytelling. We also had to tread a delicate line between highlighting the tragic nature of domestic and family violence and also the hope that Rizeup and its sister organisations provide.
