The film aimed to promote the annual ’Fright Nights’ event at Movie World during the Halloween of 2019.
The DOLL HAUS film shows the inner workings of Herman Schuster’s workshop as his latest victim wakes from an involuntary anesthetic. Obsessed with making life-like dolls, Schuster’s creations were highly sought after all over the world. Never satisfied with his work, Schuster began experimenting with different materials to reach perfection and when people in the local village began disappearing, all eyes turned to him.
Like Schuster with his scalpel, the sound design has been crafted with brutal precision to create a concoction of heart thumping terror, skin crawling eeriness and in-your-face gore.
