Queensland Health is diverse in every respect, from the people that form the organisation, to the places it reaches and people it helps everyday. This is what we set out to capture in this recruitment piece. An immersive, warm and meaningful journey into the world of Queensland Health.
My approach was to go nimble, as we were working with real staff that aren’t used to being in front of the camera. Cinematic documentary was the asthetic I was aiming for, afterall we’re capturing real people, in real envrionments doing their actual jobs. What I really wanted to achieve, was to make each envrionment, be it in the hospital or outside, look amazing. This is a recuitment piece, so if an ambulence officer in the UK was watching this, we needed them to want be on that beach saving someones life.
