With accdients and deaths in underground mining on the rise, our client
charged us to help force this tally back down. To do this, we told the
storys of miners with lived experience of mining accidents. We wanted
the contentt to be simple while emotional and powerful, connecting to
a workforce that largley weren’t outwardly emotional and had tough
exterior personalities. By showing a side of their colleagues they
hadn’t seen before, emotionally fragile and vunerable, the content
cut through to the workforce and was the first step in changing
behaviour and making people work safer.
