The Challenge:
Vinnies is one of Queensland’s oldest chains of charity op shops.
The problem is, foot traffic has been dropping off. We needed a way to get people excited to discover what’s in-store.

The Idea:
A 3-day hunt for famous fashion items across 150+ Vinnies stores in Queensland, Australia.
Australian Olympians, musicians, TV personalities, fashion icons and more donated personal items.
These items were hidden throughout Vinnies stores.
Clues were dropped on social media, and the hunt was on!

The Results:
Finderfest reached over 5.5 million Queenslanders (123% above our stated objective). The event was Vinnies second highest ever sales week. Across the two-week campaign, FinderFest drove a 36% increase in sales up from the previous year.
We got primetime news coverage, and Finderfest got people excited to discover what’s instore at their local Vinnies, and feel good knowing they helped those in need.
