**Celebrating Queensland’s Cultural Heritage, virtually. **
Cross River Rail’s four new underground stations will feature 14 pieces of artwork by 13 of Queensland’s most renowned indigenous artists, creating a celebration of the state’s cultural heritage not seen anywhere else.
An immersive mobile first experience for travellers in Brisbane and people outside of Queensland to experience the artworks, as if they were there, telling the story of the place and the people. Custom designed and built experience bringing to life each unique artwork, selected by highly regarded curator Barbara Flynn and a panel of indigenous art experts, and included consultation with Turrbal and Jagera representatives. Each piece of art was created by Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander artists from Queensland, and each artist is highly celebrated and renowned.
The build utilises 360° panorama images and 3D rendered videos creating an immersive digital experience, which can easily adapted for their Kiosk screens.
