This was a large scale project in terms of shoot days and locations, so when the post portion began, I realised quickly that there was an extremely large amount of footage, and the concept was pretty loose, so I had a big task of creating a story from scratch.
In the end I was really happy with how I conveyed the emotion and mystery in the edit. I really wanted it to be moving and powerful and I think through pacing and quick cuts in certain moments I was able to achieve this.
