Mothers’ Day

Rather than creating a generic Mother’s Day campaign, we chose to elevate an exclusive collection from within the Michael Hill range that reflected the strength and resilience of women.

Personally designed by Lady Christine Hill, the Spirits Bay collection is inspired by the Totorere shell, which is worn down by the elements over time until only the strongest part remains. It’s a perfect metaphor for motherhood, and a powerfully symbolic range to link with Mother’s Day.

Our film centres around the deep connection between a mother and her daughter. Through the passage of time, we see how a special memory involving the Totorere shell is immortalised with a precious gift of Michael Hill Jewellery.
