Mariko Doi – Instagram Celebrity Repost
This illustration of Mariko Doi from the band Yuck was sent to her with the intention she would take a photo of herself, with herself
(my portrait of her) and repost it on her instagram account, tagging me as the illustrator.
The purpose of this was so I could capitalise on her fan base, gathering engagement from her fans and in turn sales of my illustrations which are based around music.
It worked, she did it, I received more followers and sales increased.
