The Brisbane Advertising and Design Club is advertising its call for entries; above the line – on Nova. Makes sense. The BADC has put a radio campaign, by Junior Cru Digital, to air. The 3 x 30 second and 1 x 75 second (yes, 75 second) campaign holds the mirror very, very close to the faces of Brisbane’s digital, design and advertising crowd. In the ads, VO Paul Davies asks the listener about their behaviour – ‘If you make the logo smaller…’ ‘If you have a beard…’ ‘If you watch cat videos for research…’ ‘If you do your own sound effects…’ and more. Ironically, according to BADC rules, these self-promoting spots, produced by The Post Lounge, can’t be entered in the 2013 Awards that close August 12. For info, contact [email protected]
