The brief was to create a two minute animation to promote the National Film and Sound Archive exhibition ‘Media and Me’. The purpose of the animation is to inform school children about the NFSA and to question the effect that different types and sources of media have on us as individuals and as a society. The main character was designed to be original, cute, charming and endearing. The client requested that it be a simple shape that was not gender specific and could appeal to both children and adults, but would be engaging for the target market of school-age children.
