Hailing from Santa Rosa, CA. near the great town of San Francisco, Sam grew up on skateboards, played a lot of baseball and made home movies with his neighbourhood friends. With a degree in Sociology, Sam excels at working with people of all ages and backgrounds and making those on the other side of the camera feel at ease and relaxed. As a skilled Photographer, Director and DP, Sam has quickly built a solid reputation in the industry for creating visually engaging content that connects people. He is also one of the most genuine, reliable, kind and hard working people around. Currently he enjoys making pictures for a living and hanging out with his family on their farm in Australia. His video work has won Gold and Silver at the ACS Awards and he’s won Gold, Silver and Bronze awards for his advertising work for the BADC. In 2018 he took out the top prize at the Moreton Bay Art Awards for his image “Portrait of a Greek man and son”. His work has been selected in the prestigious Moran Contemporary Art Prize, The JUWS Photography Award, The Clayton Utz Art Prize, the 38th Alice Prize, The Percival Photographic Prize, The Churchie Art Prize, The Olive Cotton Award and the Sunshine Coast Art Prize and The Brisbane Portrait Prize
