The airline category sticks to the same conventions, time and time again. To show that AirAsia is different, we created three short films without boring destination montages and forgettable music.
In each of these funny short stories, the main character has a fairly creepy problem (that’s strangely easy to relate to) in their everyday life, but finds a unique solution by heading to one of AirAsia’s destinations.
To get these videos seen, we used an innovative rich media banner that targeted mobile device users. These banners featured a media carousel so viewers could watch all three videos, as well as social media share buttons.
