An immersive, interactive experience for prospective QUT students utilising ‘The Cube’, QUT’s 48 multi-touch screen digital display (one of the largest in the world), located within their Science and Engineering Centre. The Cube acted as the central hub, delivering specially designed information videos, student stories and course info to Open Day visitors, who synchronised personalised content from The Cube’s touchscreens to their ‘Digital Show Bag’ on their smartphone via our web app. Prospective students could select seminars, view campus maps, course info and videos, and hear stories from current QUT students – on their smartphones – as a portable information ‘resource’ on the day. Content was accessible immediately and viewable later, further enhancing the Open Day experience. 15,000+ visitors made 2013 QUT’s largest Open Day ever. Almost 4,000 prospective students accessed information from The Cube via our smartphone web app – spending on average over 23 minut
